Branding Work for Destination Grill

I’ve been working on a branding identity package for a new food truck business called ‘Destination Grill’. The client is using a restored Airstream trailer as his food truck and was looking for something that would evoke that era of when folks used to take the scenic highways, like Route 66, to get to vacation destinations.

I wanted the logo to evoke the Arts & Crafts movement, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and also pull in colors from the Southwest, evocative of Monument Valley, Utah. I also knew the client did Stained Glass as a hobby, so I wanted the stylized mesa in the background to look like it was pieces of glass.
